I am trying to find a mechanic that can work on my truck. I have bad cupping on the front tires (outside edge) pretty bad so I need some suspension work. Anyone recommend a mechanic or a trustworthy dealer? The reviews for Groove Ford in Centennial look pretty good if I have to just go to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

I've had some issues with Schwabs too, but they did make it right. Although I new everyone that worked there. And during that time I spent a LOT of money there. That was up in Omak, north central Washington. Only ever delt with them and the few in Spokane, but that was almost 10 years ago.

Really the only good part about them is the warranty, but you pay a premium for it

@Rattlesnake18 do you know anyone?

Can you post up a pic of the tire wear. Take it to your local trusted alignment shop and they can fix you up. To do a proper alignment everything must be tight and not worn out so they will do a check and recommend stuff if it’s worn out. Could just be a toe issue.

Thanks, I had new Camber/Caster Bushings installed at the Ford Dealership after the passenger side tire had abnormal wear along the outer edge. I believe it's been 2 years or so. They told me I needed new bushings on the front, they performed an alignment after I had the bushings and I installed all 4 shocks. This has been going on for some time now (obvious by the tire wear). When it first started, the cupping was easily visible and that first time I noticed it was about 9 months after the bushings/shims were replaced. I don't drive it much any more except around town. Definitely have a 'bouncing' that occurs at higher speeds (above 40mph).

It looks like you have to much camber and it might be toe-ed in a little bit to much. Run your hand from the outside to the inside of the tire. Do you feel a feathered edge? How about inside to outside, smooth? Also rebalance your tires. How often do you rotate your tires.

Thanks @sbluke55, I notice when I run my hand from outside to inside, that there are ridges in the tire, but only in certain spots, not just a single ridge, there are cups at various spots in the tire. In other words, if I put a straight edge in line with the tread valleys, and run it from the outside to the inside, it would be stopped by the raised ridges in certain parts of the tire. From the inside, back to the outside, it would travel without stopping. Does that make sense?

Also, because the tires were worn/cupping after about 9 months, I kept putting the repair off and each time I did a tire rotation, I only wanted the fronts moved from left to right. The rear tires are still in very good shape. I know that I will be buying all 4 new tires when I get the suspension/alignment fixed... I just want a good mechanic so that this doesn't happen again.

Did they rotate the tires before they did the alignment?
I was getting ready for a long trip cross country. I had new tires installed at Discount Tire, new shocks installed by me, and then immediately took it to Ford where they did the shims and alignment.
Ok, if they had done the alignment on the worn tires it was going to be off
