2008 F350 300,000 miles, DPF deleted long ago.

No boost and throwing code. Actuator is trying to move but sounds like gears are stripped. What are chances its just actuator and not turbos. Or is this a start throwing parts at it until its fixed?

Additional info= have about 10lbs boost at highway speeds. The actuator will move by hand even with key on.

Thanks in advance

High pressure turbo gone. Cab off.

Oil cooler getting changed and egr delete.

Should I get the fuel pump replaced since I'm hemorrhaging money at repair shop?

The minimal I would do is replace the hpfp gasket and wiring harness. If you can afford it go for the hpfp replacement. Easy enough to replace the fuel pressure sensor while in there also along with ebp sensor and tube. Actuator should not move by hand with key on so yes there is an issue there. Check your front main seal also while lifted. Known failure point as there isn’t a wear sleeve from factory and it will be a common first oil leak.

Turbos CAN be removed easily without cab off as long as the up pipe bolts come out. There is plenty of room to remove the turbos and oil cooler with the cab on if you want to save some money
