ok, im going to critique yall a bit, not syaing yall did anything wrong or anything, but i like to critique.

i see (assuming its you) spraying water through a small window with a small handline.
i see a mateal building with a large roll up door.

why didnt yall cut some holes in that bulding or get that door up? the line shown in the videowas useless, by the time your water got through the window it was steam. you need to get down in there and get to the seat fo the fire.

again, not saying your wrong, and im only limited to what i could see in the video.

well at that time there was only a truck or two....hence that we were spraying w. a 1 3/4" cross lay. the owner ended up coming out with a fork lift n lifted the over head doors up.

Nice Job, I am going to watch the video when I get a second.

This was one of our biggest fires that happened not to long ago, I believe over 30 departments responded...

I see what you are talking about slowleak. But Like you said given the short angle of the video I cant really tell much, but it looks like that was the only opening at the time. Nice work Redneck, looks like you guys were first on sene

yea this plant has been there for 50 years...oil soaked floors with about half of it packed with folded up cardboard boxes, for shipping the sprayers. it was just a surround n drown...we only went in because part of it hadnt been hit by flames yet

i believe the moron that walked up with no turn out gear on would have escorted off the fire scene quite quickly

size 11 or 12 doesnt matter what kind. mine burned up cause I had them out of my gear drying out. and as for the helmet I may just bite the bullet and order another 1 from paul conway, thats where I got my last 1. Cairns American Classic

its cool bud. I got back on the VFD that I started with when I was 18 in NC and I have my own gear (which is good cause the only spare gear they have is OLD crap that needed to be retired when I was 18) but oh well I guess I'm just gonna find some old rubber ones around here that are close to my size and use them until I can afford to get another set of boots and another helmet
