The reason you get an oil leak with the CCV mod is due to an increase in crankcase pressure because of the breather restriction you're causing. The CCV is a positive CCV in the sense it is pulling crankcase vapors into the intake. When you re-route it you remove that positive pull and therefore the crankcase pressure builds, especially at idle. If you have weaker rings you will def have excessive pressure after the CCV mod But that usually shows up in the exhaust because the weakest link WRT oil leaks due to pressure increase is the rear turbo seal since it is really not a seal, but a piston ring like c-ring.
If you have oil in the galley it is most likely from leaking o-rings in the turbo pedestal or your HPOP is leaking either at the lines coming off the pump going to the heads or the oil ferry plug which you may see referred to as the unserviceable Plug. Those are the most common leaks that we all see. Clean it all out with engine cleaner and rags and get a good look at the galley when the engine is running. If you still can't see it put some miles on it and have another look.
