So i found a 1995 f250 powerstroke on craigslist, and it has 215,000 miles. The oil cooler is starting to leak, and i wanted to know if i should repair it or just completely replace it?
Repairing it means buying several O-Rings and pulling the cooler to clean and replace the O-Rings. coolers can run hundreds of dollars for a new replacement.
So even in the long run you might as well just do the gaskets and o rings? I saw a bundle on xtremediesel.com from alliant. Would that work on only the alliant cooler or will it fit the stock oil cooler as well?
