Surely I can't be the only person with this probem. My '02 Excursion dumped all the coolant on the ground behind the front passenger tire. Called my local deisel shop but they are making appointments 3 months out. Towed it to the Ford dealer - they were close and available. Diagnosis: broken hoses that are obsolete with Ford. I have had no luck finding any aftermarket versions. Motorcraft did make them, but not in the last few years. Desperate for help!!

if all else fails go to your local home improvment center and look at the pex barbed fitting selections

junk yard maybe or take the hose to a hydraulic hose place and see if they can make a new one. Is it just a rubber hose with fittings?

OP here. Not sure what they are exactly; I'm not really a car guy. I'm just shocked that with how popular the 7.3s still are, there are parts not made at all anymore. I have a freind who works for an online salvage website and he says they usually cut the hoses off. A local shop is going to try to fabricate new onesor patch the old ones. I'm told they look really rough though.

Did you try Napa? I've gotten stuff from them before as they may have it in a warehouse somewhere

In this case, it's the "7.3 Excursion", as these hoses were only used on Excursions, and not 7.3s in general. Demand fell off, and the part was discontinued. (I have no idea if the 7.3 and the gasser Ex use the same hoses, but either way they're discontinued).

I looked at the pics in the links posted above. The long one could probably be replaced with bulk hose. The shorter one could possibly be made up with two generic 90deg bend hoses with a coupling. There are ways to make something work if you can't find the OEM part. Sound like you have it in a shop that will figure it out.

The last 7.3 excursion was built almost 20 years ago. Time to improvise. Take the old hoses to the local parts place and look for something that will match up or be put together to work.
