Im geting ready to put clearance lights on the roof, I hear the OBS trucks have a double layer roof, It it a pain to run wires to hook them up? (mine will be hooked to a seperate switch. not to the factory plug. that has been all planed out and ready to go).

Where the clearance lights mount there is a double roof. To do it nicely, yes the wires are a PITA, just did a set. I can't remember if the cabs are identical, but when I did a set on my 91 when I had it and actually ran all of the wires to the panel that is right above the windshield, the metal one. Then from there you can run them down the pillar and you are done. And why not run them to the factor wiring, really easy, just sayin.

^^^ Good rite up..BUT. another idea is to do what was in 2001 dodge 3500 i stripped apart. you drill a 1.5 inch hole under each cab light on the inner roof pannel and you can access the back of each light from right behind the headliner.

You just have to drop the headliner:doh:
