I know there are Alot of stack Picture threads on here but.. i have 5 inch turnouts on my truck right now, this weeks project lol im doing a 3in down pipe to a 4Inch exhaust to 6in miters(maybe) and i was looking for pics of OBS fords with different size miters, post pics show off your truck! or other types of stacks maybe you will change my mind if they look good :thumb: thanks
i want stacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: but i'm not willing to pay the outrageous prices they have for the dual stack kits and stacks. i'll probably end up doing some kind of DIY kit.
I stumbled on it on craigslist and wound up being exactly what I was looking for and still had the brand new wrapping on it......yes I basically stole it for what I paid
how do y'all like having the stacks with a toolbox? does it take up too much room? i'll eventually put stacks on and i'm thinking dual 7" mitres, but i'm a little worried i'll have to scoot the toolbox back too much. :dunno:
Mine sits 3/4 of an inch behind the stacks, just enough to open the doors, I still have plenty of room, when I need more, 4 quick scews and the toolbox is on the ground.

An arm & leg to one isnt so bad to another lol....mine were $540 to the house, complete kit. I waited a long time for them, was like a kid in a toy store when they showed up
damn, thats pretty good. its still about 539.99 more than i have right now. :hehe: i've just got too much money tied up in little projects for it. what size are yours? i really want to run dual 7" mitres but so far the cheapest i've found for that set is about 700 something.
I keep telling the Ford reps they need to make an extended cab with a 11' box so that after I put in my fuel transfer tank and tool box I still have room for a sheet of plywood and be able to close the gate:hehe: I guess I should be telling them a 12' for you guys that have the stacks:thumb::icon_ford:
Mine are 6" Mike, I have seen 7's before and they look good too, put on what ya want! The only advice I got before ordering mine was that 5" is too small for a stack and the more you look around at trucks with 5's....they dont look that good.
Take your time putting them in, I spent 2 hours lining mine up amd measuring and remeasuring to make sure they were both exact. People that throw them in and say 'wow these are awesome' and they arent straight or the 2 sides are different height are just gay and should be beaten
i completely agree. whenever i get them, they will be lined up PERFECT. i'm way too OCD to have them not be straight. i might start doing some looking around to see if i can piece together a kit or something.
ALOT of people make their own bed kit, find yourself a nice set of pipes and build from there. Mine are chrome not stainless so I keep them really clean in the winter so they dont rust...3 years so far...no pits yet lol
yeah, i think thats one reason i like them so much. good job keeping them clean. i want some black ones. i think i could make a bed kit for cheap, but the stacks that i want would be around 400 just for the stacks.
