I have an 04 6.0 and at take off truck luggs really bad until about 3500 rpms and then takes off. It also has a skip at about 1200 rpm's. Truck has no power running under 45 mph. Any suggestions?"

does it smoke any and i would start by pulling codes

recently changed fuel filters and still doing it. I had a buddy check for codes and nothing came up.

Wastegate stuck open? EBPV stuck closed? Or both?

6.0 liter does not have a wastegate and if it was stuck open the engine would not be getting enough air and therfor would smoke.sound like you have some fuel issues your buddys scanner might not scan ford codes there is alot out there that do not
