just get a multimeter and start chasing wires until you find a dead spot.buy a haynes manual from auto zone they have the wiring diagram in them.i presonally have one for every vehicle i own and when i get rid of one i leave it in the car to go with it for the next owner.
Open the stearing colum and at the base of the turn signal is a switch. There is a 6 prong plug that was loose going into the switch. All I had to do was push it in tight and presto, my low beams are working again.
