Hey everyone!! Just joined the forums but I'm not new to diesel.

I just purchased 2012 F350 6.7 and it has a ez lynk tuner in it. I downloaded the app and was able to access it but it doesn't show me anything about the tune that's on it. It does have the rotary switch to chose from 1-5 installed as well. It also has been deleted.

Is there a way to access that info or a way to reprogram it with my own tune?

Do you happen to know the previous owner? They would need to go into their EZLYNK app and use the handover vehicle function so you can get the tunes. The quickest way is to buy new tunes, but first check what the rotary switch is connected to. Some tuners use different types of switches than others. Most of the switches are either connected to the fuel temp sensor or the CAC sensor.

No I don't know the previous owner or have a way to contact them.. it was purchased through an auction.

Ok I'll check what it's connected to tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure I could reprogram with a new tune.

The EZLynk could very well be removed from the truck and the tunes are just downloaded to the ECM. Switch on the fly is controlled by a potentiometer based switch that modifies a factory input (usually fuel temperature sender).

What I'm saying is, the tuner itself could very well be removed. Is there anything plugged into your OBDII port?
