Looking for some opinions on the 01' F250 7.3 RWD (NBS) I just purchased. Im not familiar with lift kits or what mods I should get in terms of just better performance. Im not trying to get an entire performance package tho and reflashing my pcm/ full fuel system upgrades. Not mudding or towing too heavy either. Just want a little more power and preferred dealers/brands.

Im looking for anywhere from 4-6 inches lift and some wider wheels & tires to add some beefiness. Also any mod preferences like the zoodad mod, ccv kit, afe air filter, etc. that wouldn't need a pcm overhaul.

That truck is a pile of crap..... You should be glad that I'll take the whole body off your hands for $500....

I meant to say.... Nice truck! A lift isn't a performance mod, it's a thing.
A diesel truck is expensive to maintain, then you also own a big truck, which is expensive to maintain.
Reliability on the engine side and "sound" on the suspension side should be your worries atm. Once you know it steers and has the ride that you want AND the engine isn't costing you thousands...... Then you can move on to "bigger and better" things.
It is a nice looking truck, enjoy it before it becomes a "truck".

Thank you for the reply. And I expected some type of crap talk. Its a forum after all lol.

I had the transmission rebuilt. As well as suspension, ball bearings, and differential replaced.
All oem matched.
Next im focusing on replacing fuel system (pump, injectors, etc) but sticking near oem unless better options that don't need a full-on re-tuning. So I'm just trying to gather ideas ahead of time for the looks of the truck. Replacing the bumper since its dented to hell so all I need is just a bit of beefiness. Not trying to look like the biggest kid on the block tho lol.

Get an AFE intake with the oiled filter, an MBRP 4" turbo back no cat exhaust. Hydra chip. Truck will haul a $$ and get better fuel mileage. The harpoon mod and tank pickup mods are great.

When you say tank pickup mod, are you referring to a hutch mod?
The other mentions here are great and I have them saved. I appreciate the shout out on those.

I don’t mean to be judgy, but why lift a 2wd? Personally I’d go lower and embrace it if you’re gonna change the height. It’ll be cheaper and drive a heck of a lot better than it ever will with a lift

No worries. The truck was already installed with bigger wheels and rolled fenders so I figured I'd level it out and throw bigger wheels/tires on. Im not going crazy with the lift, just adding the tiniest bit more of beef. Just person preference i suppose.
