Hey y'all. Name is Troy. Recently purchased my 2nd PSD, and love it. I hope that what I'm doing, and plan to do in the immediate future, is not a dumb move. My first 7.3l Turbo was '02 F250 SD. Loved it, although didn't have it more than a couple months. Was excited to find '01 Excursion, for what i thought, at a decent price. 250k clean. Maintenance log. Needs some work. Cosmetic and mechanical. Had 6 position chip. Will detail more in later post on preferred thread. Am 32, and have 3 children. HVAC and Computer tech. Mechanically inclined, not a mechanic. Although, definitely honing my skills with the multimeter and not taking things off that don't need to be. lol

Anyway, appreciate you all saving your knowledge on this here forum. Appreciate the welcome, and the time.

Good Day.

Hey Troy - Thanks for joining!

I see you already found the Excursion thread. Another one to look @ is: Midwest Powerstroke Association - a multi-state Chapter of Powerstroke owners. There may be some members nearby.

Also in Ohio, check out: cncfab - owned by one of our vendors here @[email protected] - He is very helpful w/7.3Ls.

Howdy Darryl,
Appreciate the welcome. Seems this is one of the more, if not THE, active forums. Yessir, found the Ex thread :p. Good to know on the Midwest PSD ***., definitely going to check that out today. Also, have reached out to Corey and CNCFAB. Going to give them a call this morning actually, and get this transmission deal moving forward.

Thanks again. Good day.
