Hey all,

So the truck vibrates when under any load, from the slightest amount of throttle all the way to WOT. As soon as I let off the accelerator she glides OK, no vibration at all. I think the problem lies in the engine itself. If it was vibrating all the time then I would suspect the drive shaft, U bolts or carrier bearing or T.C. (however, maybe I am wrong? :dunno

I tested all the injectors last week through the harness and had one ohm at 5.8 all the others where around 3.7. Will a bad injector make her vibrate as bad as she is?

I also initially suspected the CPS but the truck isn't spluttering randomly, misfiring or shutting off. The vibration is constant under load.

If anyone could pitch in their $0.02 I would appreciate it! :thumb:

Its a 96 F250 PS with LOTS of miles.

A seizing u-joint will cause this. They will feel tight with prybars though. Making you think they are ok.

take your belt off and check your water pump and fan bearings. i had the same problem and my fan bearings....well they werent there lol

Thanks both for suggestions. Going to take a look this weekend hopefully. Either way, I'm going to rip apart this truck until I find the problem.
