2006 Ford F350 XLT with lariat seats the power part works but the heat does not this is what was left of the harness when I bought it. Please if anyone has same harness any information will be helpful, junkyards don’t sell them and dealers say that they are discontinued and obsolete. Any pictures, information or a harness for sale would be great thank you

Are you wanting a seat heater diagram/wire colors?
I have a Ford connector catalog, but it mostly shows the same end of the connectors as in the pictures
not the other ends

I think I found the same catalog that you’re referring to it helped me cross reference to know what I need for connectors I’m just looking for a wiring diagram or some guidance as far as where the wires are going
These are just regular heated seats, not memory seats?
memory seats have the module underneath, on driver seat
Just regular power heated lariat seats
These are the seats just not mine found that pic online

I may find more later, but for now something to consume

Can I steal this thread for a sec? I have an ‘05 Lariat and my drivers side heated seat isn’t working, do these years match or did they overhaul them?

That right up looked very similar but the seat had memory but now all I need is the wiring diagram hopefully colored wires as well

does the light come on in the switch when you push it?
check the fuse if not
else it may be the heater pad under the upholstery
Connector C315 C320

Driver Seat

I dont see anything about the heater, but trace the wires from the heat switch to the pads
easiest to pull the seat and remove the bottom seat cover, pretty easy todo
there is a zipper for the back, need something like a coat hanger to pull it

The light comes on and I have swapped the switches from side to side- I metered the coils and I got nothing from one of them- I can’t remember which one (the back or the bottom). But I wanted to make sure there wasn’t something else that could go wrong.
The heat strips burn out
there is a kit on ebay I was looking at to replace mine
one of the members mentioned it here
will see if I can find the link, it looked like a nice upgrade to a thermostat regulated setup

Here is the link, there are others that would work but I liked the single button control

I put that set in. I love it. The factory heaters are lame compared to these. My next move is to get a 2nd set and separate the driver's side from passenger side, using the 2nd switch. Then I'll separate the backs from the bottoms. Essentially, I'll have a dual dial switch for each seat, one dial controls the base, the other will control the back. This gives each passenger the ability to heat their butt or back, or both, the way they like.

The whole kit is cheaper than a single replacement heating pad, which is why I went this route.

As far as the super cab seats go.... It's very easy to remove the covers. I pulled my seats out and chased wires, wasn't super hard (for me) to figure out which wires to use. I have the old plug somewhere, doesn't mean I know what wire is what.
IIRC, the system is very simple.... One power wire from the cjb, one ground, one for the switch and one that runs to the passenger seat, which was just the switch wire. the ground for the passenger seat runs from the driver's harness as well.
When I put the new set in, I used the factory power wire and ground to the new relay, then just ran the wires for the new pads to the new controller, it was very easy. Just get into the harness, only 1 wire is controlled by the ignition, that's the seat heater.

One of the aftermarket heaters had just a two speed rocker switch, simple hi, low

I need to fix my seats, not because I need them but because it bugs me that the driver side does not work
I usually have Carhartts and Underarmor on when I am in the truck in cold weather, so not sure if the heat would get thru , ...LoL
mine is generally a work truck, I have the Grand Cherokee for regular getting around, and the seats work in it

The 5 level unit will burn your *** in regular jeans, if left on high to long. Out Temps have been around 40~ lately and the "1" setting is perfect for all day driving, the 3 will have you sweating after a while and the 5 will have you trying to figure out why your a$$ is so damn hot. The factory heaters are equivalent to the 1 setting (maybe the 2).

You’re probably gonna have to get a wire tap and a fused tap and run your own wires to itI’ve had to hook him up in an XL truck before and you got a find a fuse it turns off with the key
