Awesome. Thanks.Twist the hose back and forth then push it on tighter. Then squeeze the two gray plastic tabs and pull the hose off. That is how it is supposed to work. There are purpose made pliers that can be used, by inserting in the rectangular holes to release the tabs as well. Curved pliers and circular tipped needle nose plies may also work.
If by chance you break the plastic clip it may be obtained separately from the hose from your dealer and I am sure you could source, it on-line.
Yeah, I fought with a few of those yesterday. I had to replace the secondary water pump so quite a few of those buggers to deal with. Was not a fun project. Got it replaced and I still have a water leak too so that made for a depressing evening.Another note - if you squeeze the tabs in and you can rotate the hose and hold the gray clip in play it is released. And, the gray clip may remain on the degas bottle. If that happens just leave it there and make sure the tabs line up and lock when you reassemble everything... just don't lose the -rings and keepers in the hose connection. They usually stay put.
More hose fun: did you notice the hose from the secondary water pump has one of those fun spring clamps? I don't know which one is the greater of the two evils. LMAO!!!
