My dad has a custom tuned SCT for his truck and returned his truck to the stock level. He has a 2007 6.0. Our Excursion is a 2005 with the 6.0 and he went to load the programmer onto it and as soon as it got done saving the Excursion's stock info it stopped working and said there was an error. Now it wont start and we cannot get the SCT to load the stock tune back onto the Excursion to fix it. We need any help at all guys. Thanks

you might have to get it to a dealer and get it reprogramed

It may be the PATS system on the X, try the info here
