Ok so as the title says i need help getting my truck back to driving daily, its been down for two weeks. its a 2000 F-350 srw 4x4 lifted 4 inches with 20x10 wheels and 35's. so too start my truck was doing fine, then it started pulling hard one way thus i would steer slightly the other way and then the truck would just about jerk into the other lane. It would pull either direction and then jerk the other, as if there was slack or play in something. Lifted the truck to check everything tie rods, balljoints, wheel bearings, all tight. The major play was in the pitman arm. So order a new pitman arm, still doing it and the steering wheel was misaligned. so i got it aligned, seemed too drive right for a few miles then started doing it agian. rechecked and noticed some play in the steering box. so i replaced the steering box with a reman unit, bled the system, now the truck only steers at speed without brakes. no power steering at a full stop, or slowing down with the brakes. although it was jerking me all over the road i still had power steering before i did my steering box. its a 6 speed truck so if i down shift and keep the rpms up i have some power steering but not all there. i have tried flushing it with fresh atf, bleeding the hydro-boost system, driving it to try and bleed the system, flushing it seemed to help a little but still cant turn it at a stop or while braking without giving it everything i got and i have to make a 20 point turn to get out of my driveway into the street. the brakes are also kind of funny acting, they are hard as if the truck wasn't running. ive been thinking it was just a ton of air in the system but im not sure now. all the research ive done has left me with some people having weak pumps, some just took alot of driving, and some had bad parts that were replaced. any help is appreciated.
