turn key sys runs about 3k with out the tank. has many options on tanks as well. so most likely this project will run under 5k for all the setup.. truck and cf.

you have a dirty tank of vo. heat it up so it is lquid and flows. flows into a series of filters in different sizes with the smallest at the end. then flows to the other tank which is the tank you pump into your truck. right? and that filtered tank is heated so you can pump it into your vo tank on the truck.

whats this water in vo about? or do you use a water separater for vo like there is in the diesels with water separaters for diesel fuel?

well comming from a person that has no experience in wvo and i have no idea in hell how it works and tryin to learn it. ive read a lot in this section and still cant seem how to figure it out. or cant find it in a way i can understand.

A paper filter or bag filter will not improve the cleanliness of properly CF'd oil. No other process I have discovered will provide cleaner or dryer oil IMHO.

....and I hae CF'd thousands of gallons of WVO.:thumb:

how much oil does one generally not get to use. as in dirty oil. and where do you dispose of it?

how much oil does one generally not get to use. as in dirty oil. and where do you dispose of it? depends how dirty it is. vegginpsd and tubular031 can generally spin a 275 gallon tote without cleaning the bowl until the finished, so in the end maybe a quart or two of nasty vo?

and im guessin it has to be heated going into the cf as well... its reccomended. wvodesigns has an inline heater available.

I just did about 450 gal and cleaned my CF just because it did not feel right to go longer. Picked only a few scoops out. But then again this was oil that had been sitting in the tote for maybe 6 months so gravity helped me a ton. But remember gravity = 1x CF (aka forced settling) = 1500x

CF is the way to go !

The best thing to do is not tell everyone. Trust me you will get reallyyyy tired of telling the story and answering the 100 questions when people find out.
