Mounted Nitto Dura Grapplers 285/75/16

After blowing a sidewall out, I was due for a new set of rubber. I wanted a highway tire that would last me awhile. I liked the Michelin ATX's, but wanted something a little more aggressive. After reading the reviews, I decided on the Nitto Dura Grapplers. They are awesome. They ride a little softer than the Michelin's, very quiet and have a deeper tread, somewhere between a true all-terrain and a highway. If anybody is on the fence about these, go for it!

FYI, Discount tire was first class to deal with. On their website has a price match offer. They sold me the tires at $200/tire. Very impressed with their operation.

The only thing I didn't like about the Dura Grapplers was the snow traction. Especially as they wear, I had a set on my old truck and when they had 20-30% tread left I got stuck in the parking lot of my old apartment.
The DuraGrappler is an excellent pick for HD truck owners who drive a lot on road but need the occasional off-road traction.

Thank you for the business boucher!
That is awesome.

What site did you compare the price with that you showed discount tire to get them to match it? I am in need of a new set and that price is amazing.
the Michelin LTX A/T 2's sucked on my truck

The size is 285/75/16. The price comparison site was Tires at the lowest prices possible. All major brands of tires and wheels.
