Hello everyone,
I’m looking at buying a set of 20x10 Moto Metal 955s. While I really like the look of these wheels, I’ve read a few posts on various sites about the chrome finish pitting after only a few months. Also, I ran into a guy today that has them on his truck and they are pitting a little and according to him, they're less than a year old. Is this a common issue with Moto Metal wheels? If so, is there any way (i.e clear coating the chrome, using a sealant, etc.) to prevent the pitting?

Thanks
Ryan

I never had a set but I was determined I was getting them until I read a lot of bad things about their finish after a few months of being in the weather... now I don't know what to get I wanna stay with a 16" rim...I really like the moto metal 951's .. I need to find a similar wheel from a good manufacturer

Many of the Cast wheels from China are all made in the same factory. You get what you pay for really. I liked them alot until I saw a set on a Tacoma that were only a year old and looked pretty thrashed.

No problems here, but I'm in AZ, so we don't have snow or salt...
