I just installed the xb led headlights from the retrofit source. The left headlight vibrates with road bumps. Its noticeable by cars in front of me---my son pointed it out to me when I was following him. So I informed the retrofit source and they quickly sent a replacement - great service! However this one is doing the same thing! Seems the projector(s) are loose in the headlight, I think. But anyway, has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm going to contact the retrofit source again, but .... By the way, the right side is rock solid.

I noticed the same thing. I can slap the light and see the beam jiggle. I guess I'll also contact them

I can see mine jiggle on the garage wall every time I start the engine and stop it. TRS sent a replacement which also jiggles so they are sending a third light. If that one isn't solid, I guess I'll live with it. Keep your receipt--if it fails or gets significantly worse, it has a five year warranty. But as I said in my first post, the right headlight is rock solid--no jiggle at all so you would expect they could get the left one solid. Maybe a manufacturing issue with this early build lot. Someone asked for pictures. I'm an old guy, no tech wiz and I don't know how. But I'll work on it.

I'm give them a call next week because these lights were sold at a premium and I do expect better

If he asked you for a PICTURE of something jiggling, I'd say he's the technologically challenged one

I'm sorry I misled you about the picture request. TRS did not ask for pictures. They took my return request without question. The picture request came from a member of this forum. He had not seen these headlights installed on a truck yet and asked for pics. Also, as I will, it would be good if you updated this thread with the results of your return with TRS. THANKS

I contacted TRS about the second headlight vibrating also. They were going to send another one but subsequently decided to hold off until they can investigate the problem with the manufacturer. So I am waiting for the result. They did (yesterday) send an email asking that I try to get a video so I'll work on that tonight...

Did you ever get this resolved? My passenger side light is doing the same thing.

Also there appears to be two adjusters on each light. Do you know what the lower one is for.

Treatcg, no, I never got it fully resolved. TRS sent me three headlights and all three vibrate some. So the status now is to wait and perhaps morimoto will eventually solve the problem. Then I can make a warranty claim. They told me the projectors are a bit heavy for the adjusters to hold them steady. Needless to say I am disappointed given the cost of these things. The lower adjuster moves the projectors left and right. The upper adjuster moves up and down. Good luck and please keep me posted on your outcome.

I contacted TRS today and they asked for a video. I noticed while doing the video that both are bouncing but passenger seems worse. Rather disappointed. I wonder if they have the same problems on 17 and newer F250s or F150s.

These lights are not as bright as retrofitted projector HIDs. I have a set of those too. I may sell these and retrofit another set of stock headlights that I have laying around.

I was told the amount of bounce/shake I have is normal. Below is the response.

Hey Clayton

This is a normal amount of shaking, caused by the buffer needed to allow for adjustments. All of the headlights have some shake to them like this.
