I recently put an 8 inch lift kit on my 2003 f350, i was looking into new rims but they are a fortune I can get myself some nice 16.5 military rims with 37"s my question is will the 16.5 lug pattern fit and also will the tire on that rim rub? anyone run 16.5 on a 2003? thanks

pretty sure you have Bolt Pattern: 8x170mm

and the military is Bolt Pattern: 8x6.5 inch (8x165.1mm)
you would need pricey adapters and have ugly rims
Ok thank you, it was more of a cheap fix idea since thoes rims are cheap, but if the adapter is pricey then im roughly in the same spot, next question I have read that other years like 05+ that those rims will rub? now that I have lifted the truck will they still rub or does it rub in a different area? thanks
The 05+ rims actually have a different back spacing that brings the wheel in about 2 inches closer to the truck. It is also recommended to use spacers for these if not absolutely nessisary

16.5s will not fit on an 05+ truck as they wont clear the brake calipers
you can get cheapy rims for 83 a piece and have basic black steel rims great for a set of winter tires. I have an early 04 and got a cheap set of rims from craigslist at 50 buck each. there are deals but it helps if you are not in a need them yesterday situation.
hope that is of some help

i also know a guy with 16.5's who runs miltiary tires on the cheap that might help you out some?

I have a set of 05 17's the truck came with and they do rub the springs without spacers...just fyi and pretty sure it is an 8/170 bolt pattern as well as stated earlier in the thread.
I put 16.5`s on my 04 a few years ago. They aren`t the military but are nice looking rim`s. The problem with them is most tire company`s have quit producing the 16.5`s
