I post this as a point of reference only for other members running the Michelin LTX in 20" size.
Yesterday, I blew a left rear tire at 65mph pulling my empty race trailer. The tires just under 3 years old, have 45k miles on them and were properly inflated, etc. The tire appears to have delaminated which is distrubing for a tire with reasonable miles and proper rotatation/wear etc. I was planning on replacing all 4 tires before the winter but I could have kept driving them with the remaining tread for another 15-20k miles. I really expect more of Michelin given the cost of these tires. I'll buy these again but they won't stay on my truck much past 40k miles next time.
BTW, the exploding tire destroyed the wheel well liner, bumper, bed side and supports. Still waiting for the estimate on the damage.
