MBRP cat delete pipe

Hey all, just ordered an MBRP 4” exhaust “retains original cat” but wanted to straight pipe and remove the cat. Seems like nobody carries the straight pipe anymore. What is my best option for getting this exhaust installed without a cat? I found a 3.5” delete pipe online, will that work? I’m guessing Yes if the MBRP is designed to retain the original cat?

It'll work. What will happen is the 3.5 inch delete pipe will slip into the 4 inch exhaust piping. So get yourself 2 clamps or weld it. I'm trying to visualize how big the gap will be but I can't, so you'll just have to find out.
Just go to an exhaust shop and have them flare a piece of straight pipe in your size for ya. Pay for said pipe, slide on, clamp...done deal!

Please let me know where you found this bolt on straight pipe. Seems like everyone is scared to deal with this topic anymore. I even pissed off the Banks Performance tech when I asked him about it (I have a Banks Monster Exhaust). I live is AZ, but I live in an emissions exempt zone, not that that would stop me, and I NEED to be rid of my cat. 😅 Anyway, I am about to buy the MBRP one and modify it by adding the "ball" to the flange so it fits into the socket of the downpipe, but I would rather just get the professionally made one. I know this an older post, but hopefully you get this. Thanks!

Ahhhh, nope! I guess that sounds cool, but it's a completely useless statement. Thx 4 the bro wisdom though.
Any exhaust shop is going to have what you need. And you can claim nope all you want but outside of what grade stainless or whatever metal you want there is no difference in pipe. So yeah pipe is pipe.
I have one I got off Ebay not more than a few months ago.

I went with a MBRP 4 inch full kit once I decided I dident have any cab hone. I dont think I can sell it on here but if your interested, just pay shipping. Its no use to me and was like 40 bucks so no prob just giving it to you.
fit in no issue but she was a texas exhaust. Any rust and you will be doing come cutting. No biggie as long as you never plan on trying to put stock back.

Thanks James. I ended up finding the same pipe and realized the exhaust I have is a Banks Cat Back Exhaust so eventually I will be doing the same thing as you. I am starting to get frustrated with some of my other Banks components so I think I am going to go with the MBRP 4" as well. Just gonna have to save my pennies first. Sorry that I can't take that extra pipe section off your hands. This emissions stuff is ridiculous! Stay safe.

james,

what did you type into eBay to order the cat delete pipe. I’m having trouble finding one and they don’t make the mbrp one anymore for the mbrp exhaust I ordered.
