what is the reccomended highest psi you should hit with stock exahust valve springs?

i put my EBV on a full manual control switch and i throw it on when im hauling down a hill or gotta stop real quick. it does a great job over 2000 rpm, but i know those drive pressure must be HIGH!

highest ive hit it at was 23-2400 rpm off the throttle. motor sounded fine during and after but i feel like i was pushing it....was i?

Not really sure about the numbers, but on my old truck I had an exhaust brake (a real one, not the EBPV mod) and I threw it on around 27-2800 a few times with no ill effects. You should be fine at 2400.
