I used to run Lucas Oil Stabilizer/Treatment in my Peterbilt with a Cummins N14. Made the engine very happy. There was definitely a big difference. Anyone use this in the 6.0L Power Strokes? As touchy as these things are, I don't want to f&*% anything up...
from what i've gathered i believe these trucks dont like the Lucas stuff(could be wrong) but what I can tell you for sure, is that Rev-X seems to be the top dog for oil additives for these trucks. there are threads on here you can read up about it. supposed to work wonders for injector stiction as long as its not already done its damage.
Thanks. That's why I'm asking. My truck has fairly new injectors, so I don't want to add anything that might do harm. It runs great now, so I suppose I shouldn't fix something that aint broke. Lucas did make my Cummins and Mack engines seem to run better, cooler, smoother, but then those are much different engines than these PowerStrokes. I'll check out the Rev-X.
