Here's the deal,

Guy bring's me a 97 F250 with 175,000 miles and the the typical "It don't run like it used to complaint". I drove it and it is down on power and real sluggish. It has a hesitation that turns into a bad stutter (for lack of a better description) and it smokes white like hell for a couple of seconds at around 2500 rpm. It will eventually push through and govern out, but it takes about 15 seconds or so. No check engine light.

On goes AE, and here's what we got:

No codes at all
Buzz Test Pass (But the solenoids sound pretty weak)
Cylinder Contribution Pass with no faults
HPOP is ok
New Fuel Filter
Fresh Oil and Filter
Recent Turbo (But it was used:doh:)
New air filter

Guy says it has been using 3 or 4 quarts of oil between changes

I am thinking injector o-rings, or possibly the injectors themselves.

My plan is to pull the valve covers and check the oil flow at the spouts, compression test and fuel pressure check.

Am I missing anything or has anyone had this same issue in the past?

Sorry bout the long post, just tryin to paint the picture.
