Got a quick question. Actually Im more looking for opinions. Im thinking about putting louvers on my truck to make it a true cold air intake. What do ya'll think?

I dont know if that would work on my OBS I was thinking more of sealing off my K&N air box and pulling directly from the hood.

I guess the only issue with that would be to keep the rain out or snow if you live in a colder climate. Im sure it can be done though:thumb:

Ill be in TX in a couple months I also have the Silcon cover for my filter to keep it dry so Im not all that worried about rain. Plus I think it would look sick as hell. I forgot to mention that I would be putting one on both sides one for the intake and one to allow heat to escape from the turbo.

Not sure what kind yet. Im still looking around. I know that no matter what Im going to have to do some fabrication.

all it's doing is alloying more air to be pulled in, this will reduce egt's and maybe give you another mpg and some better throttle response.
