Champion 3 row aluminum radiator, they work fantastic. Many IDI guys are buying them (in fact, almost all of the IDI guys on other forums go for that option).

Plus, they look great behind the grill!

update, i installed the new radiator, turns out the autozone brand (part #C1165) loks differently than it used to, for one it is an aluminum 2 row, for 2 the top and bottom tanks are made of black plastic. same design, but its no longer completely aluminum. according to autozone, they just changed the design, why i dont know. but everything seems just fine, it fits, all the holes are the same, threads are same, and so far it seems to keep it pretty cool.
however ever since i completed the swap the motor acts odd. when i start it, it starts right up then dies, then starts right back up, and acts very groggy in the idle, then is normal.

the first time i took it out for a drive i had it running for about 45 min before i drove it then blasted the a/c and drove around the block, as i was coming around to a stop light at about 35 it just died on me, so i came to a stop and it started back up on the second try again. and kind of grogged the way around the corner, its been 3 days now and its still doing the same but hasn't died on me again. ..

i assumed maybe the motor burped and there was a big air pocket or something but after checking the fluid level it has almost more than enough coolant mix.

what the hell am i looking at? whats going on? any help would be amazing, im about to tkae the truck on a 1300 mile trip back home to the west coast from texas along hwy 10.

thanks
