Hey all,

I have 2001 f-350 w/Bullydog GT tuner which I leave on tow mode. The truck has 182,000 mi.I dont beat on truck @ all. I was starting to get some real hard starts a couple of weeks ago generally when truck was hot.I have replaced batteries, crank positioning sensor, and starter relay on firewall. Still every once in a while it will crank for a long period of time before turning over.It throws a code P1670 and next to code reads volts greater than 33.Ill erase code and it goes away.Crazy thing is the truck runs great.I appreciate any input yall can provide and thank you in advance.

IDM and its relay seem to be fine. Also used multi-meter to check grounds for battery/chasis,batterry/starter selenoid.Grounds are good.Im gonna put truck on a regular scanner tool over weekend and see what pops up.

removet he tuner, set back to stock, and see if it fires up. Also, make sure the hpop is full. If not, then you might have a bad lpop or something is "draining" your hpop back into the pan....cracked tube, stuck checkvalve...

I've been swamped @ work.So I apologize for not getting back to give update.Well last week I went to leave a job and truck wouldnt even crank. You could hear starter relay clicking. When I checked the starter relay it seemed odd to me that it was so warm.Truck had been sitting for 2 hrs .I climbed under truck to check wires on starter.I could actually wiggle the starter, yep thats right.I tightened bolts and then also changed aftermarket starter relay back to stock starter relay.Truck fired right up.So far ,so good.I am still gonna put a new starter on,and oem starter relay. Plowing season is right around the corner and truck needs to be ready to rock&roll.

Thanks!
