when lifting a truck is there anything you have to do with the drive shafts?:dunno: or only after the trucks a certain height?

It really depends on how high your lifting the truck.

Now I have heard people having to shim a carrier bearing even when only going with a 2 inch or 3 inch lift. I have heard from others they did nothing with that small of a lift.

But you should not have to worry about your driveshaft till you go 6 or more inches.

Well I know for fact at 4inches or more you need to shim the carrier bearing.

thanks that's what i thought...i figured with new drive shaft angles something has to change. didnt no if it was an extension of the drive shaft or shimming the carrier bearings.... where does some one buy shims and how do you know how much to shim it?
