Hello all,

Is there such thing as a leveling kit that doesn't destroy your front end angles? Here in the communist state of Massachusetts we can't have lifts so unfortunately that's out of the question. My last truck (2006 F150) I ran a level and was going through hubs every 15-30k and don't want to deal with that.

Thanks,
Nick

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware that there were kits with drop brackets. The Mass lift law is very iffy. The RMV states a 2 inch lift at max (suspension and wheel), but then it also states a formula for 4x4 vehicle "(Vehicle Wheel Base X Vehicle Track Width) / 2200" which would allow for about 4.3 inches of lift. Even so a 4 inch lift and 33's would be pushing the limits. I'm worried about our yearly inspection, my friends in law enforcement all don't seem to mind the lifted trucks. The state recently just installed cameras at every inspection station last October. I spoke with a couple of shops and it doesn't seem like they can really do many favors for something visible such as a lift and tires.

Thank you,
Nick

Leveling kit shouldn't Schwack hubs.

Get a kit that has the appropriate drop brackets or new parts to keep alignment easy.

Wheel setup will though.

Why can't you lift it? I've seen tns of lifted vehicles in Massachusetts

That sounds like 3 reasons to move!

I went with a ready lift kit that came with all the drop brackets to keep it like stock geometry.

Haha I come up with a new reason to move daily, but can't because of work.

Is this the kit you went with?
2.5" LEVELING KIT W/ TRACK BAR RELOCATION BRACKET - FORD SUPER DUTY 4WD 2011-2019
for $429.99?

Sorry can't post links

Thanks,
Nick
