I’m having a leak problem. It looks like it’s coming from where the transmission and transfer case unite. Anyone experience this issue? If so, what is the solution or possible problem? Easy or hard fix? Would like to get this taken care of before it becomes a bigger problem. Thanks in advance:!

Are you loosing tranny fluid?
Are you sure it's not your pan leaking and blowing fluid backwards?

I've never taken a Ford apart, but the assemblies I have taken apart have a seal at the output shaft on the transmission.

Pretty sure it’s not the pan leaking. I’ll double check. In the second picture I posted, you can see the fluid stain out of the gap Between the tranny and transfer case. In general, Is the output shaft seal easy to replace on a truck?
