Has anybody else on here bought a powerstroke from these people and if so have you had problems with the truck. Maybe I just had bad luck.

I considered buying one from them but found their customer service lacking. So I passed.
yeah it was horrible.worst experience I've ever had. My truck had to bad injectors when I bought. I called them about it and they said it wasn't there problem so they weren't going to fix it. A month later they finally agreed but they don't have any techs that can work on powerstrokes so they wanted to send it to some guy in raleigh and for me to pay the tow bill to get it there. Long story short, I'm not allowed on their property any more.

Yea if they did that to me I'd imagine they wouldn't let me back on the lot also. What are you going to do now?
I think I would contact the BBB.

If you buy a used truck with no warranty it is not their problem, they are not a Ford dealer, If they (any dealer) tells you something, it is meaningless unless it is written down. If you sell your truck to somebody, and then it needs injectors, are you gonna fix it$, maybe, but you do not have to. I am not trying to be a smart a$$, but get the thing checked out before you buy, how often does somebody post " I just bought my first powerstroke..."
Problem with that is I paid like 3k for a warranty. I fixed it myself for around 800. And I did contact bbb who said they have had several complaints.

I would make a claim on the warranty company. I bought mine three years ago and bought a 50,000 mile warranty also and got to use it twice. I would contact the company that issued the warranty. Good luck!!!

stay away from them there a rip off
Just my .02 i have also been in your shoes once before. The reason we get so angry is cause we know ultimately it is our own fault for being taken advantage of. It is our money and therefore up to us to do the required due diligence on ANY & EVERYTHING we decide to purchase. If we relied on someone else to protect our interests and always do the "right thing" we would be in a sad state of affair. If you want a good warranty company that will treat you right find one on your own. If you buy used make sure to have it checked out by a third party and depending on how good of a check up you want will determine what you pay for it. Companies are there to make money. Its the risk you take when buying used. If you want piece of mind buy new. As i business owner myself i stand behind my work and product and if i cant warranty it i wont sell it. Its no different then buying a house. If you moved in and a week later the stove broke is it the previous owners fault? If you were the previous would you buy a new stove...probably not... JMO not that anyone cares...HA

I bet the dealer knew that the ac and cylinder head were about to fail! Iseriously doubt that the made the 4k that those repairs cost, If they offered, or you bought a warranty that is different, but used cars all come with a piece of paper that either says "as is no warranty, or warranty as follows. There is a difference between the truck failing and a known defective truck being sold, unknown defects are not the responsibility of the seller UNLESS THEY WARRANTY IT IN WRITING! If you traded in your truck and the dealer came back to you and said the blank went out you need to fix it for us, you would tell them to pound sand.
