Whit, you had a nice shop and plenty of room. Made me want to push down some trees as I got home. Glad you had the week/weekend to work on our trucks, and thanks. I'm glad Goose got his stuff fixed and in order. It was a good day all in all on the work side and plenty of fun and Bs ing. I've never pulled a bed til today but it looked pretty easy at least in your shop. Again thanks for letting us come and play in your sand box, nice sand and no cat poo.
Still wish we could have done your harpoon. You make it back down we'll drop the tank if we have the same problem. Later Whit

I had a great time. Thanks a lot for all the help Whit. Couldnt have done it without you. I didnt leak a drop a fluid. I checked it in T-town when me and Tracy stopped to eat and I checked it here at the house. Torque converter is much much better. No slipping and the truck is putting a lot more power to the ground. When I filled up after I left your place I put 30 gallons of fuel in there! but my fuel gauge still doesnt work. I guess I will have to disconnect the batteries out tomorrow.
Glad it worked great, how much fuel had you been able to put in? Awesome on no leaks, that was the only thing that had me worried, when we couldn't find tranny fluid. Disconnecting the bats should clear it I don't think Danly's has ever taken that long but fuel level and that angle. If it doesn't clear we may need to pop the b...wait reach in on top on your tank and see if we plugged the sending unit up. Just don't remember if we did. Later Whit

I used to be able to put 23 gallons in at most. Im going to disconnect them today if it doesn't start working. I dont think we disconnected anything on the sending unit.

Yeah, the wire was the shorter than the fuel lines.....on Padres truck I had to unhook it and did so on your truck when I was loosening the ring. I don't remember anyone hooking it back up you might wanna check. The truck end of the plug is on the cross member that kpept getting in the way. I think you can reach up between the bed and tank and feel along the crossmember and see if we plugged it up. Later Whit

Sorry about the dropped call Whit. I have crappy service here at the house. After I lost service I climbed under there and found where that connector went. I was looking in the wrong spot. Everything works perfectly now. :thumb: Thanks again.

Man I just gotta say that if I could get the fuel mileage gains I have enjoyed since the GTG I would drive to Needham Alabama every week! I can't wait to get the next round of parts together and head on down!! Wait we had an offer to have a GTG there in B - ham didn't we? I am up for the next one no matter where it is though!

I just want to fix the leaking fuel tank from the harpoon mod. I have no ambition to tackle any more. I need a front end alignment on the corolla, and to put the new tires on the camry and out of the trunk of it. I'm getting to the point of selling something just to cut down on maintenance. I don't know how I kept 7 in the road before.
