I have the air dog, zoodad and harpoon to do. I need a Trans, Coolant, Power Steering and Brake Fluid flush, but that will have to wait.

That'll work, maybe things will be a little better later in the year and we can do this again. Chris isn't gonna get to come till Friday afternoon, I may have to go bring my mom home from the hospital sometime Friday but ya'll come whenever, thats why I gave specific directions cause I thought she would be coming home sometime along there. I'll be back to the shop as soon as I get her home and settled in. Later Whit
well. this is gonna be hard.
found out that i cant make it after all. theres some things that have to be done and the cash for this trip isnt there. the last trip i made to al was on a check that had no bills which allowed me to go. i would have to wait untill next time then. plus the other reason is that i also have trip next week thats been talked about since i think december in OK. but thats just 1 tank for the round trip and its over night. have to be back at work that sat tho :doh: this would have been 3+ tanks in 1 weeks time.

next time yall do a get together like this, maybe we can have it here, i have a shop. i usually keep some fluids in stock, like you were talking about changing, since i am an Amsoil dealer and all! just let me know somethin.
If I make it, I'll probably just show up Sat. in the Tacoma and help/bs. I noticed my truck has the Line X sprayed over the bolts in the bed. I pretty sure that means I'd have to drop the tank since I'm not wanting to mess up the bed liner. I've got a 2 week shutdown coming up in a week, may do it then.

What do I need to bring tomorrow? I have a tubing cutter for the harpoon mod, and an Actron scan tool besides my programmers. I would bring the grill and some food, but I'm just going for a drive thru or something quick. I may drive the diesel, just not sure.
Whit, you had a nice shop and plenty of room. Made me want to push down some trees as I got home. Glad you had the week/weekend to work on our trucks, and thanks. I'm glad Goose got his stuff fixed and in order. It was a good day all in all on the work side and plenty of fun and Bs ing. I've never pulled a bed til today but it looked pretty easy at least in your shop. Again thanks for letting us come and play in your sand box, nice sand and no cat poo.

I had a great time. Thanks a lot for all the help Whit. Couldnt have done it without you. I didnt leak a drop a fluid. I checked it in T-town when me and Tracy stopped to eat and I checked it here at the house. Torque converter is much much better. No slipping and the truck is putting a lot more power to the ground. When I filled up after I left your place I put 30 gallons of fuel in there! but my fuel gauge still doesnt work. I guess I will have to disconnect the batteries out tomorrow.

Just rolled in to Cainsville! I had a blast! I can't wait to save some more funds and buy more parts! I also put 30 Gallons in the Beast and she can wear that name proudly now! ZooDad, AirDog 2, Harpoon and unplugging the egr got me the same fuel mileage @ 95 mph for well over 150 miles and 85 mph for the remainder of the trip as between 70 and 78 mph did. I am very happy with that! It was good to see Goose and Tracy again and meet Mike and his family!

Oh and my ABS light comes on periodically now after the getiing the crap scared out of me and having to go from about 85 mph to ZERO in a new york minute on the trip down. I guess I will go to Autozone and have them pull the codes and see what's up with that.
