First of all great customer service! Preordered the 310 got it early morning on the 7th. Ordered the TCM with new 310,275, & 210 on the 10th received it on the 11th:thumb:

275
Before the TCM I thought the 275 shifts were hard and sort of jerky, after the TCM 1 to 2nd shifts perfect almost like the 210, 2nd to 3rd quick & firm shift not jolting like before, 3rd to 4th is now firmed up and feels good, lockup is at 45-48 MPH pulls good and much smoother dosen't have that boggish feel it sometimes had before if you mash the pedal while crusing with it locked. Its so smooth it has a little less seat of the pants feel. Mixed driving on a tank was 14.5 mpg

310
Is just nasty power! After the TCM, shifts are still firm but not jerky its still learning as I haven't put any WOT runs on it yet. lock up is arond 45 and pulls like crazy! I put all highway miles on it between 75-85 mph on a 200 mile run, topped it off and got 17.6 MPG! (hand calculated on both)

I would say def. worth the money for the overall driveabilty plus extra protection on the tranny!

Nice write-up. Question though, do you need to buy the TCM if you only plan on running the DashDaq and 210 tune? Maybe the 275 later? Job 3 truck(i believe)

No you don't need it for the 210 I had to have my 210 rewrote to work with the new TCM, the 275 will work fine also but the TCM does help the shifting.

Required No. The TCM was designed to speed up shifts to handle the huge torque loads and increase longevity in the trans. when running the race tunes 275, 310. The 210 shifts well w/ the oem tcm and are not required but would most likely only help the shifting and trans life. Keep in mind you would have to have your 210 tune re-written if you want to run the Spartan TCM.

$699.00 for the unit by itself. $799.00 for the unit with the 310 and 275 tunes. And from there is $37.50 per tune, or $100 for three

You just need the 275 tune. Tranny won't blow up, you end up cooking your frictions prematurely if you punish (try to destroy) the truck, tranny will hold with oem TCM and faithful maintainance. Down the road if you decidce to make the 275 tune your daily driver you can always upgrade to the modified TCM and have the tune re-written for it. Go for it, IT ROCKS!:thumb:

Ok, brown dude showed! :woot: Installed new TCM and 310. BTW, truck is a job 3 so i don't mean to derail. But anyway. Haven't had the chance to run it much at all. First thing I noticed after the install was putting it in reverse. Solid grab! Going down the driveway, touchy! Eased into it and shifts were firm but not neck breaking. Hammered it one time and holy hell! Spun imediately, hit second, defueled or something but i stayed on it and they lit up again and then it lunged or something and throated up again and 3rd did more than just a chirp! Good god almighty!! I know all above is due to the learning phase. Just didn't have a chance to hit a back road this evening. First impression is, this is just absurd! 350 LWB CC 4x4 freaking laying rubber in 3rd. Verrrry impressed Matt! The 310 is without a doubt nasty and brute! :thumb::thumb:

Glad to hear it's working well:thumb: Keep flogging it and it will clean up quickly. Also make note that you'll want to turn your traction control off during learning if your truck is equipped with it.

Good news in that respect is that our NZL trans tuning for the module (Near-Zero Learning) is coming along well. When all is said and done, learn time and percentages will be cut by about 90% on the upgraded TCM's- should be a huge benefit to people when switching programs to tow or reloading files at the track.

As "GC" said reverse now has a very noticable grab compared to the stock TCM. I have only loaded the 250 and so far very pleased. Lockup occurs at 45 MPH which is completely different from where it used to with the 250. Shift are very crisp but not violent. Great work Matt :thumb:
