I installed a jegs liquid filled FP gauge on my shraeder valve. Only problem is it jumps from 40 to 70 back and forth rapidly at idle and I can`t tell what the pressure really is. Is this normal? Their adds say compared to a dry gauge this one doesn`t jump. Yea right! Anyone have a suggestion for a good gauge and where to get it? This is the second jegs gauge, first one broke and froze on 45. I`ll cut my losses and give up on them. TIA

It's normal for a piston style pump to hammer on a gauge. You can try mounting it to a rubber hose, like one for a grease gun. It will help a little. Also, I have found larger diameter gauges bounce less.
