Just bought a used 2003 F250 6.0L. Doesn't get cold very often in AZ, but this morning was 70 degrees and rainy. Engine started fine, let it run for a few minutes then pulled out. When I did, the engine shudders like it's missing or a cylinder ins't firing at low RPM. Once it starts to increase RPM (over 2000) the shudder goes away, but it feels as if there is no BOOST and there is not enough power to accelerate. The engine revs up to 3000 and stays there. No acceleration, no power, it just runs at 3000 RPM. Eventually it will clunk into 2nd and then the BOOST kicks in a it starts to accelerate. This continues until the engine is at full operating temps. Once there, seems to run great.
It does have an Edge Juice installed (there when I bought it) - not sure if it has anything to do with it. I would like to remove it and go back to stock, but I am not sure if you can do that or not?
