11.78, or might as well say 12 mpg while towing a loaded 5x8 v-nose trailer that weighed around 1600 total weight and interstate speeds between 75-85 mph.

I have a 4" turbo-back exhaust, a cold air intake, and no chip. Would a custom chip help the fuel mileage and better accomodate the intake and exhaust? Truck is an 01' SD CC automatic and 285 tires. Is 12mpg acceptable, or should it be waaaay better? Thanks

For that speed it is what to expect... Slow down and you will get much better
milage. Keeping the RPM below 2000 will greatly improve milage. At that speed
a chip wont help to much unless it is always falling out of OD, will help just
a little though.

Slow down to 65-68 and you might get 15 or more.

at 75 or 85 your not driving for economy so I would expect 10 - 12 at that speed..
