I checked my coolant today and it's green. The motor was studded by the previous owner at a shop thats been around for years but I don't think they know much about 6.0's Is there any way to tell what coolant is in it or should I just flush it and start over?

Green coolant is no good. Motorcraft is gold. ELC is generally red. Simplest way to tell if its studded is to look below the valve covers and see if its a bolt or a stud.
