i ordered a set of 20" XD rockstar wheels on 35" nitto mud terrains. the guy at the shop said 33s would fit no problem, so i got 35s since i am getting a 2" lift as well. some sites selling this tire package say a 4" min lift is needed. can i run 35s with just a 2"? not planning on much off roading. also anyone else running the same tire set up? happy? unhappy? tires loud?

X2 Hey Budman help us out a little.......................... Fill in your sig. :thumb:

If you have leaf springs then you need a lift kit because the tires will rub unless you do a spacer or get wheels with the correct back spacing. IF you have coil springs then you only need a leveling kit.

99-04s need a 4" or 4.5" lift to be able to fully clear a 35/12.50 on aftermarket wheels.

2" sometimes is possible depending on what springs you have stock, but it will be tight.
