Just got my IPR high flow coolant filter in today, I am not running the manifold kit because I'm running the IPR Gen2 EGR delete.

Where do you guys tee this thing off at? I see the out flow hose goes to the degas bottle on cheaper kits, but the hose included with this one is huge, doesn't look like its made to dump straight to the coolant bottle.

Anyone, have searched the forums and Google searched, still pretty lost. Seems everyone has a different opinion how this thing should be ran. I live in the south so having a heater doesn't matter, but I definitely don't want to lose my a/c.

the way i see it is you cut the heater hose coming off the water pump run too the inlet then a hose from the outlet going to the heater core or just use the T that comes with they have very good direction with the kit

My kit didn't include directions.

The water pump hose makes sense, however if I ran the outlet to the heater core, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the valve that closes to reduce the heat coming off the heater core?

Is there somewhere else I could run the outlet hose?

i got mine from custom diesel with 2 filters and bigger hoses i ran the it in the heater hose and outlet to the overflow 3/8 hose so when the heater is off the coolant keeps moving it just made since to me and it was only 158 with 2 filters and very easy to install

Vince just emailed me the same set of directions portcity_gts just posted. Thanks very much for the post, though. Vince also included a neat hand drawn diagram for full flow, but for now a bypass setup will work for me.

I would never recommend sinister or any other egr delete over Vince's Gen 2 EGR delete kit. I have personally had 2 sinister egr delete kits fail and leak on me in less than 2 years.

Agreed, the EGR delete from Vince is hands down the best one out there. It'll probably out last the truck. It did include directions for the water neck removal, but the rest is pretty straight forward. I ran into some troubles but that was more due to me being a noob around the 6.0 than anything. If I can figure it out, anyone can.

I have the Gen 2 EGR delete and IPR's coolant filter. I plumbed the coolant filter inline to the heater core and it works great.. simple routing and when the heat stops I know my filter is plugged. Both items are quality items and I highly recommend them!!
