While towing I was hitting uncomfortable temps on my tranny (4R100 in an ’01 CC 250). Passed on the 6.0 cooler due to cost & bought the Tru-Cool Max 4739 thinking it was an additional/piggy back system but it appears to be a replacement instead. I have read here of others putting 1, or even 2 T.C.’s in addition to the existing.
Question is does the T.C. cooler flow at the same rate as the original allowing them to be installed inline or do they need to be installed otherwise? Anyone that has installed 1 or more T.C’s on they’re truck got any info they can share with me or direct me to an online visual of the procedure? I need to install tomorrow so any help would much appreciated.
