I have a 2000 F350 Superduty and need to install some additional lights for:
Hooking up the trailer
Hookin up the boat
Loading and unloading the boat

I would like to have a switch in the cab for it, but, not really sure if I just run the wires from the switch to the relay to the battery and then back to the lights?

Already have the lights just a bit tenative on the wiring.

The relay should be marked. You'll have the input (from the battery), the output (to the lights), a ground and the trigger (from your switch).

Take a look at this - It may answer some of your questions.
