Looking at putting front and rear lockers on the ol p-stroke.
What is better the ARB air locker or the Eaton E-locker and why?

Thanks in advance!

Tank is right, but I wouldnt call Eaton junk.
I'm not a hard core off roader, just looking for x-tra traction when its in 4x4.
Could the Eaton be a better choice considering cost and simplicty?

the ARB are expen$ive but in$tant, the Eaton is much cheaper and more practical for any one....also prob has a limited slip unit as well, i think the ARB is only on or off application not to be used full time...

definitely not,..Eaton, Detroit, etc,...they are all very good L/S or lockers,...they all have areas in which they excel.

I chose ARB's ,...because they are tough as hell....and are selectable, and I already had on-board air.

If your just looking for a little better off-road performance, the Eatons will be perfect for you..

But....if your looking to do this stuff

you may want to consider Detroit or ARB

I'm also looking at a traction aid for the rear being I'm going to be sporting Stock tires but still get out there. I was eyeing the full blown Detroit locker. I have the OEM LSD, so what's inbetween the OEM LSD and a Detroit?
