Ok im new at this so i hope i get it right
I have a early 04 f350 that needs injecters.
I planing on ordering them today from elite diesel
the truck is stock but for the gillet egr delete kit and k&n cold air intake
I have a super chips programer and bully dog propane kit
but they are not on the truck yet this is a work truck
I plow snow and have a gravl spreader and tow up to 5 tons
often. I plan on doing alot of stuff to the truck down the line
headstuds,turbo,airdog,you know all the good stuff cuz i would like to do truck pulls with the truck some.so what i need to know is should i get the stage 1 or stage 2 injecters and if a get the stage 2 injecters will the truck drive ok on the street for now until i upgrade the turbo and fuel system.
thanks for any advice yall can give.I am not new to diesel trucks but i have never went past the programer,exhaust,intake stuff
i have had a 95 reg cab 7.3 5 speed 99 ex cab 7.3 auto 01 crew cab 7.3 auto05 crew cab 6.0 auto and a 06 dodge (please forgive me ) 5.9 auto

If you still have a stock exhaust, get you an aftermarket 4", or straight pipe your stock exhaust. Also, get yourself some gauges. You have to know what is going on with your engine before you can just start throwing power at it. You are on the right track though by getting rid of the EGR system.

If your truck is a work truck, I wouldn't do anything over a 155cc injector. 155's can be detuned a little to work with your stock turbo and still have suffeciant power. Also, get rid of the superchips and the propane kit. You will ruin your engine with that combination! Cylinder pressures are going to be so high that your heads will most deffinitly lift within the first week:hehe: Seriously though, get a custom tuned SCT from one of the vendors on this site. You will love the power you get from just a custom tune:woot:

I would upgrade the fuel system before you go and put bigger injectors in your truck. The stock fuel system will start cutting fuel from the stock injectors because it can't supply enough to them.

i agree. there are alot of things you should do before buying bigger injectors.

why not just replace the bad injector

yeah i was kind of worrying about the superchip and propane without head bolts.the chip was a freebie and i got the propane kit off ebay new for like $300 bucks 3 years ago so maybe one day i will get to use it.I have a sct programer on my 06 gt mustang and love it so i will take your advice and get one for my truck.As far as just replacing the injector that is bad I would but i have already done half of them and as im sure you know they are not cheap so i thought it would be better to get all new ones and upgrade to 155's
so that would already be done rather then buying another stock one that
i hope to upgrade soon anyhow.thanks again for your help

replace the bad inj, buy supporting mods, drop the super chips for a sct with customs, get an 03 turbo and your good.......
