Got a 04 F250 in the shop it's a buddy of mines too. Well he had a issue with no start hot. So whatever. We get it in, and had a HPOP rating of 370psi or so. Well. New HPOP, new egr delete, ARP head studs, gaskets, orings, and drain tube...... and still doing the same thing but HPOP psi is 1200-1300 now... So we looked at base pressure. boom. it had like 3 or some ****. Well new low pressure pump goes in. We have base pressure within spec now.... started fine for about a day then boom. Started the **** again. So after scrolling around the IDS we have found that under 180 ECT this this will fire and run like a beast.... anything above 180ECT it will not start....

Yall got any ideas? It has new ipr valve also. new icp connector and new ipr connector. Throwing code for #7 glow plug circuit but has always had the code since the guy owned it... If we can't figure it out the cab is being pulled back off.

A lot of times with Powerstrokes, when major modifications are done, the PCM tries to learn them and sometimes fails miserably causing the PCM to malfunction, get it flashed then see if your problem persists.

Well finally figured it out. Number 4 iirc injector was AEM and had a two oring top and they were torn. Truck runs flawlessy now. the pcm tcm and whatnot have the latest calibration from ford. First thing we did. He is gonna be going to Superchips to get a SCT Tuner from them since they are based out of where the truck is.
