I've got an issue that I just can't seem to put my finger on, hoping someone can help before I start throwing parts.
Very recently I installed FF 160/30 injectors, KC turbo, FRx, comp 910's, new ICP and pig tail, hydra and John wood valve body. It was all done at once.

Truck started like normal after an injector install. Test drove went ok, had a transmission issue that was my fault (story for a different time) Put about 80 miles on it and I've got a rough idle still, surges between 450 and 900 rpm, up and down, unplug ICP and she idles beautiful, it also surges barely when in gear with foot on the brake. Swapped cps with no change.

I've talked with FF, they were helpful but out of ideas, leaning toward tuning. Talked to tuner and he says its not tunes.

I'm at a loss here, any suggestions or ideas I'm willing to try.

I would say it’s most likely a tuning issue. I’m running 160/30s too with jelibuilt tunes, and my idle surges a little between 100-150 degree oil temps. Not as bad as yours though, just enough to be annoying

I’m going to try 1023 tunes to see if they are better

Sent an AE data log to the tuner. Says that the Mass Fuel Desired is higher than normal for 160/30s at idle and that there is a mechanical problem. A quick Google points toward IPR, I've ordered an IPR o'ring kit and plan to clean it to see if thats the problem.

So I cleaned the IPR, no change in idle quality. Tuner says its mechanical but I cant get over how the problem goes away when I unplug the ICP sensor. Is it possible to have a new ICP sensor that reads bad? I dont know what else to even look at.
